About us
Founded in 1959, we have held over 600 dinners, lunches, tutored wine tastings, talks and presentations.
Our membership is limited to 100 to foster an atmosphere of friendly intimacy at functions.
A society of food and wine lovers, some of us rather more expert than others, we mostly visit classic and modern European restaurants, though we also try to experience some of the wide range of other cuisines available in London.
How it works
Come and join us for two events to see whether we suit you before becoming a member.
After that, one-off joining fees are £25 and annual subscription is £20
(Joint membership for couples is £40, annual subscription is £30)
We have a programme of events (typically with 20/30 places) and invite members to book on a first-come-first-served basis. Payment by Bank transfer to the Society.
